Women in Connection Networking Dinner, Barcelona
Every year, during Seafood Expo Global, a leading Icelandic bank gathers a select group of women for an evening that has nothing to do with conference agendas and everything to do with the kind of connections that actually matter.
This year, we produced that evening in one of Barcelona's most iconic modernist venues. The architecture, the rooftop, the city below, the setting did half the work before a single guest arrived.The other half came from the people. 25 women in seafood, finance and trade, brought together not as delegates but as guests. The evening had a speaker - Viktor Gísli Hallgrímsson, handball champion and FC Barcelona player - whose presence shifted the conversation from business to something warmer.
By the end of dinner, colleagues had become something more.This is what Women in Connection looks like. And this is why some events become a tradition.
